The finance department processes all financial transactions for Envirotest Canada. A team of 6 detail-oriented employees, using PeopleSoft, Excel and Ceridian, create purchase orders, requisition goods, pay bills, process payroll, sell coupons and create regular reports. The team also manages all cash receipts in the lanes on behalf of the oversight agency, Pacific Vehicle Testing Technologies (PVTT). The goal is to provide customers, both external and internal, with 100% accurate on-time service! The finance group seeks to find the best value, take advantage of warrantees and identify/correct anomalies. They maintain positive and professional relationships with about 180 employees and 250 vendors, while encouraging new businesses to bid on available work.
